Terms of service

Last updated 2 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Harber Glaves Trading Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [Company number]) with its registered address at [Registered address]. We run stall.bio. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

stall.bio lets you build a link-in-bio store, sell digital products, collect emails and email the people who agree to hear from you. We provide the software. We are a platform, not a party to the sales you make: you are the seller, and your buyers are buying from you.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at [Contact email] straight away if you think someone else has got in.

You can try stall.bio free for 14 days. After that a paid plan is billed monthly or yearly at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. We don't take any cut of your sales: stall.bio charges 0% on them.

Stripe's card processing fees are charged separately by Stripe, and VAT may apply to our fees. You can cancel any time from your billing page. Your plan then ends at the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't give refunds for part of a period unless the law says we must. If a plan lapses, your store stays visible but checkout is switched off until you restart it.

You can earn commission by inviting other creators to stall.bio. The offer, at the time of writing:

  • You earn 30% of what the creator you referred pays us for their plan, not counting tax, for as long as they keep paying. If they stop paying, you stop earning, and if they restart you earn again.
  • The person must sign up through your link or enter your code when they sign up. If they have already asked for a sign-in link, they can still enter the code by signing up again within 30 days of first asking, as long as they have no store or plan yet. Otherwise we can't count them. We can't add a referral by hand afterwards.
  • You earn only on payments made while you have an active or trial plan. Money you have already earned is still paid if your plan later lapses.
  • Each commission is held for 14 days before it can be paid.
  • We pay once your payable balance reaches about £10, or the same number in another currency (for example $10 or €10). Currencies are never converted.
  • We pay by PayPal only, by hand, monthly. You need to give us a PayPal email address in your dashboard. We don't promise a particular payment date.
  • If a payment is refunded or disputed, we take the matching commission back, including from your later earnings if it has already been paid.
  • If you delete your account, any unpaid balance is forfeited.
  • You must not refer yourself, spam people, or bid on stall.bio or our name in search ads.
  • We may withhold or take back commission we reasonably believe is fraudulent.
  • We may change the offer for future referrals. Referrals you already have keep the rate they were made at.
  • You are responsible for any tax on what you earn.

You are the seller of record. That means you set your prices, you are responsible for what you sell, for refunds and customer service, and for any tax you owe, including VAT on digital sales where it applies. Payments run through Stripe and go straight to your connected Stripe account. You must accept Stripe's own terms to receive them.

Buyers' rights under UK consumer law apply to your sales. Make sure your product descriptions are accurate and that you deliver what you promise.

You can sell digital downloads and link to other things you offer, as long as you own them or have the right to sell them. You must not use stall.bio for anything that:

  • is illegal, or helps someone else break the law
  • infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights
  • contains malware, or tries to harm a buyer's device or data
  • is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or promotes violence
  • is fraudulent, misleading or sold under a false identity
  • falls outside Stripe's prohibited and restricted businesses list

We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us a licence to store, copy and display it as needed to run your store, for example to show your product pages and deliver files to your buyers. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies we must keep for legal reasons or in routine backups for a short while.

When someone buys from you or joins your list, you are responsible for how you use their details. For that data we act on your instructions as your processor. How we handle it is explained in our privacy policy. You must have a lawful reason for contacting your buyers and subscribers, and you must follow the marketing rules that apply to you. If you upload contacts to stall.bio, you confirm that you have the right to.

You can email your contacts from stall.bio. You are responsible for what you send and for having a lawful basis to send it, including for the invitation and for reminders described below. These rules apply:

  • No bought or scraped lists. Only upload people who gave you their address themselves and agreed to hear from you. You must not upload a list you bought, rented, scraped or were given by someone else.
  • Confirmed people only. Broadcasts and automated emails go only to people who have confirmed they want them. You can't mark someone as confirmed yourself.
  • The invitation. If you tell us that people you imported agreed to hear from you, each of them gets one email asking them to confirm. You are responsible for that statement being true, and we keep a record of it. Anyone who doesn't confirm isn't invited again.
  • Checkout reminders. These are off until you switch them on. If you do, someone who started a checkout, was told about the reminder and didn't finish may get one reminder from you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for sending it.
  • Sender details. To send, you need a plan that can take payments, a confirmed account email and a sender name, reply-to address and postal address. Your store name and postal address appear in the footer of every broadcast, automated email, invitation and reminder, so you may prefer a business address or a PO box.
  • Sending limits. A trial can send 1,000 emails in total. The paid plan can send 50,000 emails a month as fair use, which we can raise if you ask at [Contact email]. Invitations and reminders count towards these limits. We also limit reminders to 100 a day for each store. If your plan lapses, your sending stops and emails still waiting are not sent.
  • Automatic pausing. Your sending pauses automatically if, once at least 200 emails have been sent, more than 5% bounce permanently, or more than 0.3% are reported as spam by at least 3 different people, measured on a single email or over the last 30 days. Reminders don't count towards this. We'll email you when this happens. Emails waiting to send are held, and some may be too old to send by the time sending restarts. Only stall.bio can lift a pause.
  • Suspension. We may also stop your sending or suspend your account if you break these rules, or if your email puts delivery for other creators at risk.

We work hard to keep stall.bio running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly harms you, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can.

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close it if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if we must by law, or if your account has been inactive for a long time. We'll give you notice unless there's a good reason not to, such as protecting buyers. After closure you can ask us for a copy of your data. We'll delete it after a reasonable period unless the law says we must keep some of it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses, and our total liability to you for anything connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. You are responsible to us for losses caused by your own breach of these terms, including claims from buyers about what you sold.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you or show a notice in your dashboard at least 14 days before it starts. If you keep using stall.bio after that, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you can also use your local courts. Questions about these terms: [Contact email].
